Product Graduate
Our Product programme aims to develop your understanding across Product Management, Business Analysis and Product Design; focussing on building out your craft and your ability to deliver for clients and demonstrating the xDesign values.
What you can expect
A clear pathway
From the outset, we’ll work with you to set relevant and practical goals and outline the best way to get there. Alongside your on-the-job learning, this 12-month pathway will consistently help you build product-team specific and interpersonal skills, and equip you with the confidence to move forward in your career.
Rotational experience
As a product graduate, your 12 month experience will see you engage with a variety of different departments from product management to design. With an opportunity to experience our different specialisms, you’ll grow your confidence in a wide range of practical, relevant skills, whilst also discovering where your interests are.
Dedicated learning days
To get the most out of your development pathway, you will take part in quarterly development days. These will focus on different product-specific and wider business practices to help you succeed throughout your career in our people team.
On-Hand mentoring
Each graduate will be assigned a mentor who, alongside the wider team, will be on hand to answer any questions and make sure you have everything you need to succeed.
Future success
Once the programme is finished, we intend to place you in the right role based on the skills you’ve built over the programme. We work with our graduates to help shape a career pathway, ensuring your journey with us continues to go from strength to strength.
Benefits
As well as a competitive salary, you can expect full access to the range of benefits that all xDesign employees have, including private medical insurance, development days, unlimited 1:1 financial coaching through Bippit and access to our learning platform O’Reilly.
The recruitment process
1: Application
First, you’ll fill out the application form on our website, which will consist of a product-specific question. We will review applications as they come in.
2: Initial interview
Next, you’ll have an initial first-stage interview with the emerging talent team to discuss your skills, experience and interests. This is also an opportunity to ask any questions you have about the programme.
3: Discovery day
Finally, you’ll be invited to our Discovery Day, where you’ll take part in a practical group exercise, a capability-focused interview, and a values-focused interview. Hosted at our Edinburgh or Leeds office, this will be your opportunity to experience the xDesign way of life and understand if the role, and environment, would be a good fit for you.
Applications closed
I’ve learnt a lot of things I never knew previously and with the help and support of the xDesign team all the way through, this has been amazing.
